The Cosmics UK are a Kent based psychedelic trio. The group dropped their debut track ‘Sandy’ on the 18th of February 2023, truly kicking off their careers with a bang. Taking influence from indie and psychedelic rock as well as artists such as Tame Impala and Jimi Hendrix. The groups wide range of inspiration is clear in their debut track being incredibly one of a kind, described by the band as a tune that ‘combines expansive, surrealist lyrics and psychedelic guitar sounds with the drive of modern indie rock.’
The tracks opening guitar has perfect tone combining a distorted grunge sound with a trippy melody making it the perfect intro to a psychedelic influenced track. The track in its entirety is filled with incredible mastering, sounding like a professional recording. It is notable how high quality and well written the song is, especially for a debut track! Needless to say, this Uk trio has kicked their careers off on a high.
In short, this group is a must listen for music lovers. The song is an incredible showcase of the groups talents and will leave listeners dying to hear more.
