Broken | ‘Blackcats’
Released on July 28th, 2023, ‘Broken’ is the fifth single off the upcoming self-titled album by Glasgow band, Blackcats. The up-and-coming rock group have made a splash in the scenes with their punchy vocals and powerful guitar.
Store Brand | ‘The Oversight’
‘The Oversight’ is the new single from independent artist and producer Store Brand. The young Long Island native’s single follows the release of his ‘Sewn Together EP’, and it packs an even mightier punch. Store Brand, who writes as well as sings his lyrics, plays his own instruments and produces his own tracks, doesn’t beat around the bush with the delivery of his latest track.
The Spase | ‘Glue’
‘Glue’ is the new single by the Cheshire-based trio The Spase. It is a melodic tune about wanting and willing to fully submit yourself to something you love, with a noticeable use of a saxophone opening the song. There is a strong influence of the Britpop sound around it, and that’s something that a lot of listeners will pick up, and be happy to hear.
Faded Shades | ‘My Place (Or Your Place)’
Faded Shades are an up-and-coming indie trio, hailing from Kent in England. Following their debut just before the pandemic, the group are back and better than ever with their latest release ‘My Place (Or Your Place)’ which dropped on March 17th, 2023
Oh Romance | ‘Kiss & Tell’
Oh Romance are a Scottish alternative indie band who are brand new to the scene in Scotland, releasing their debut single ‘Animals’, in January 2023. An upbeat banger filled with electricity and energy. Bouncing off the success of this debut, the group continued with their latest release, ‘Kiss & Tell’. An EP which dropped on June 14th and tells listeners exactly what this explosive band is all about.
Bang Bang | Here FOr You
‘Here For you’ is the latest single by duo act BangBang, a summery and spacey track perfect for any long drive or period spent in the sun. The pair are from opposite sides of the globe, with singer songwriter Criz hailing from the Philippines and growing up in Australia, and RFK growing up in London. The two of them would meet in Hackney, London and have been producing experimental and psychedelic bangers ever since.
The Shed Project | Our Fear Is Their Power
UK band, The Shed Project are back with their latest track ‘Our Fear Is Their Power’ which dropped on May 6th 2023. The punchy track expresses rebellious themes, going against the corrupt society we find ourselves currently living in.
Pedalo | Better
The five-piece band, who have merged from all corners of the Scottish region, have been making waves for a little over a year. This month, the group, consisting of Beth, Charlotte, Nick, Calum and Callum (with two Ls), release their debut single, ‘Better’, a story of missing out on reaching your full potential.
Ben Howard | Could’nt Make It Up
Ben Howard returns with his first new music in two years. Enter sun-drenched ‘Couldn’t Make It Up’ the lead single from his newly announced fifth album, Is It? out on June 16th 2023.
Kirsty Taylor | Spring
Kirsty Taylor's upcoming EP Spring forms the third part of her ongoing Seasons project. The four-part series aims to represent each of the four seasons through music. Taylor seeks to stray away from her usually instrumental discography, towards a more lyric-centred sound.
Neverfine | Silhouettes
The alt pop group Neverfine has announced the release of their debut track Silhouettes. In the first week of the trio’s establishment, they were granted a spot on BBC IntroducingScotland. They are undoubtedly a group to recognise in and around Glasgow.
Breakthrough | The Zebecks
The Zebecks are the newest group to look out for in the Scottish music scene. Friends since primary school, this four-piece group from Elgin have gone from writing papers together to headlining the iconic King Tuts in Edinburgh and appearing on BBC’s Introducing. The group have been rising quickly and gaining recognition in the Glasgow scene for their talents and have just released their debut track, ‘Breakthrough.’
Everything there is/ Low Joy | DAY SLEEPER
Day Sleeper are a brand new Edinburgh based group who just dropped their debut tracks, ‘Low Joy’ and ‘Everything There Is’ that released on the 31st of March.
The Cosmics UK | Sandy
The Cosmics UK are a Kent based psychedelic trio. The group dropped their debut track ‘Sandy’ on the 18th of February 2023, truly kicking off their careers with a bang. Taking influence from indie and psychedelic rock as well as artists such as Tame Impala and Jimi Hendrix.
Not a Demo Anymore | Charlie Smith
With over 3,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, it’s clear this talented artist is up and coming in the music scene gaining traction and exposure from gigs that showcase his raw vocals
Demons | Brownbear
Brownbear is an up and coming artist from Ayrshire who combines elements of songwriter and indie music.
Without You | Bangbang
Bangbang are a psychedelic pop act made up of two members, Criz and RFK. Criz was born in the Philippines and grew up in Australia while RFK is from the south of London. The pair met in a Hackney nightclub and have been inseperable since. Their first release was the Bangbang EP, released in 2017 and the project sets the tone for what is to come from the incredibly talented act.

Figure it out | The mundos
The Mundo’s are a brand new Glasgow based indie band who just released their first teaser to new music, a demo titled Figure it Out.
